Yes, I lied. And yes, I over extended myself. A lot of the plans I had musically for the summer didn't work out (like my tour), which was disappointing at the time, but now seem miles away. Probably because now I'm miles away.

As of August 26th, I've moved to Nelson BC to continue my music education at Selkirk College's Contemporary Music and Technology program (yes I got away from Selkirk to go to Selkirk, the hilarity is not lost on me ). But the Selkirk here is the name of the mountain ranges surrounding me in this beautiful city, and things here could not be more different from home.

I'm so excited about my program (I've said that so often because it's true), and about living in this arts community and getting the feel for everything here. It's really the beginning of something totally new for me, a whole different outlook on music, songwriting, and this business.

I'll be back every few months or so, hopefully to throw together a show or two, so watch for me. I'll also be continuing to update the site, so keep checking back for that as well.
