My little contest is over and I've got at least three winners who I need to contact for mailing addresses. Guess I didn't think this whole contest thing through as well as I could have, but it'll be okay. Haven't had time or inclination to get around to some of that stuff, as much other stuff that involves my current existence (at least that's my story) has intruded and made it necessary to do things like obsess over the IRS and how much of my paltry subsistence good old Uncle Sam needs to build an ice breaker, buy a poor Fortune 500 CEO a coffee maker, or who knows what.

And this morning, the background color is missing from my posts in here, so what's up with that. I want to blame my faulty computer; and yet, there's nothing that the computer's own diagnostics finds wrong with itself. Well, blow me down, Bluto. The computer can't figure out what's wrong with itself.

CURSE YOU, DELL. When I get rid of this thing, I hope its ilk never crosses my threshold again, unless it's free, and even then, I don't know. Who needs an unreliable computer?
