Do you really like that guy?
 

I like what he stands for, and I'm proud of America for finally proving that it can be colorblind when it comes to recognizing good ideas. I've felt really proud to be an American in the last few days, and that's a new feeling for me. Being proud about America doesn't have to only be about nostalgia anymore. It's a good feeling to know that anyone with good ideas can make a difference, and I think that America as a nation truly realizing that simple idea for the first time within its political structure, is finally back on the right track.
 

ok so i wrote this whole thing first and then when i read it i didn't want you to think i was attacking you. its not you, its just i hear how so many people talk about this man and my head is about to explode. so this is just MY views on the issue. nothing more. but if you wanna debate me that would be fun too! LOL

So here's my views on it, yes its great to be a good american and feel patriotic. its great that so many americans can put aside their hatred or whatever else to come together for something this country absolutely needs! and its great that we recognize our country is in trouble and needs something and someone to fix it and change it and mold it back to what it once was. However, so many people are so INFATUATED with the IDEA of change and wanting it all to be better that they look past who obama REALLY is. And not that anyone really truly knows him for sure, but what he has represented himself as. to me it was all talk. and i am a democrat so yes most of what he was claiming was what i agree with. however, what i saw was him coming out with his ideas on certain issues and then the next day when it didn't project a positive in his favor in the polls, he changed his mind to the complete opposite of what was originally said. and this wasn't just once or twice but on nearly ALL his issues. so to me what he represented himself as, is just someone who was just saying what he had too to win the election. i would have had more respect for the man if he would have just stuck by what his real plans were and too admitted his affiliations with people. which that is a whole other story. and then you have his track history. he hasn't done anything! he has his name on other peoples bills, but he's never written his own. he wants to say he's for healthcare, but he's really not. he only had to be because that was hillary's baby. he had to be on equal grounds. but i guarantee he wont do anything with the healthcare. his wife was a ceo of a hospital who's job it was was to turn the poor people away. oh, and she made over 200K doing so. So im sorry but the guy only said what he had too. Oh and small businesses don't pay capital gains taxes, which he said he'd lower for small businesses but raise on people selling their houses. He never helped any of the people in his own district. he's taken over 700M in earmarks for his state. and he made money off the whole freddie mac and fanny mae deal. and i don't even have to mention how many anti-american people he is linked too. i am just amazed at how so many people were fooled by this man.

and honestly, nothing against you! I think its great you are a proud american and believe this man will get our political structure and country back on track. and i tell everyone that i hope i am wrong about him. i hope what you all see in him comes true and he produces an amazing outcome. but i just can't trust the guy. he is as corrupt as any political figure in our government which means that nothing is going to change. and that was proven throughout this whole election. but people were blind and deaf to it all. In so much HOPE for what he was saying. In love with the IDEA of change that nothing he did wrong would affect their opinion on him. i just think its sad!

this whole world is crumbling down on itself. its not just the united states. maybe there really is something to 2012? who know? all i know is so many people have put their faith in this one man and theres nothing wrong with staying positive and having hope... but who really wants to get their hopes up?
