NOVEMBER 4, 2009 - Deep inside gay people all across the world who were raised in repression, there is a place of shame that was planted into all of them when they were small innocent children, by an unthoughtful culture of zealous priests, preachers and evangelists. This shame served the purpose of repression and guilt.
The unconscious state in which this culture finds itself at this moment in history continues to perpetuate an underlying fear and hatred of being gay. A fear and hatred as insidious as the racist cultures of slavery and apartheid, and of the sexist crimes of misogyny against women. May we all be delivered from this dark energy of hate sooner rather than later, so that the radiant light of authenticity and joy can spread its rays on all of us.
