Current mood:Adequate
Easterly, where have you been? Lurking in the background, putting energy into jobs, school, life, kids, the litany of great shows visiting the PDX area last fall, and... Whiskey Priest and Seahorse. Noah and Rich had quite a few shows for their respective solo projects and the maiden voyage of the first two albums on Bric-a-Brac records -- Hungry and I'll Be New (see well-deserved Kudos in the latest issue of The Big Takeover). Rewarding efforts all and all around, and we all feel good. Easterly does move to the forefront tonight as we open for a great PDX indie pop band, Oh Darling, at a great venue, The Blue Pepper, in Salem -- it has wine, beer, coffee, art, internet, human interaction -- the core of your hierarchy of needs. Treat yourself -- join us.
On another note, how about Salem -- stepping it up by booking Ryan Adams at The Elsinore and selling it out. Looks like the venue is getting Tegan and Sara in April. I support that behavior.
Be well, Kerry
