Current mood:  accomplished

A big thanks to everyone who came and supported us at The Hope on the 29th. The vibe was excellent and we got a fantastic response. Lots of cool comments from audience members and the sound guy (Elias?) did a brilliant job. What a change to play somewhere with such a professional set-up. Okay, so you can never get hold of the promoter and the stage lights both blind and cook you, but hey, you can't have it all!

We've only been gigging in this form a few months and this must rate as out first 'proper' gig. The few CDs we took went like the proverbial, and people were even asking if we had any for sale.  As ever, if you're reading this and would like a free CD, just drop us a line.

Dog found himself (actually, Mrs Duck found her!) a special fan who made his day with the really cool things she said about the band in general and the drumming in particular. Whoever you were, thanks! Your comments about the covers were, with hindsight, spot on. We won't be doing that again! Thanks for making the effort to talk to us.

Thanks to our crew for the evening, Mrs Duck and Brian; and one J. Spangles who put himself out to come and see the band and provide some much-valued positive criticism.

We enjoyed The Hope enormously. Our co-stars, The Elementals, were blinding and paid us the courtesy (rare on the circuit) of staying and listening to our set. Nice one, guys. Hope to catch you around again sometime.

You can catch us next at The Plough Inn, Walthamstow, on May 17th. Free in with a Tully Flyer!
