Being middle class and Scandinavian prepares one for a bleak future. However two Helsinki DJ's, Downtown and Jaxxon, made it through the jungle, although without house music they would already be dead or in lower management - or both. Your city......Helsinki still for a week. Then the Renaissance Man base is set to Berlin.

Your club......At the moment we don't hold residencies, just producing and touring,  but the club of our choice would be something in between the Social Club and Panorama Bar

First record bought......La Bamba by some latin dude who's name i never remembered(was maybe 7yrs old)

When (where, how, etc.) did you start deejaying?

Ville: I started playin at my friends parties around millenium.
Martti: Around the same time by playing some miniscule underground raves.

Number of records in your collection?

Ville: I actually only have my mp3's (and even too many of those) with me nowadays all the physical records are somewhere in storage. I move a lot so it's handy.
Martti: Around 2000 or something. Most of them are in storage because of moving. I feel bad for that. It's all digital now however.

Role model......Da Vinci of course. We like people who do stuff for the right reasons and therefore never loose their edge. Like John Cleese or Trevor Jackson.

The most important thing while mixing is…...to look good.

My strongest fear is…....That we'll end up being boring and/or purists (not that likely to happen)

Track you're currently working on?

We always work on several tracks, we are now, amongst others, remixing DJ Chernobyl for Exploited Records and working on tracks incorporating bugs, snorring, sibelius etc

Music is…...the best excuse for everything.
