The car got broken into today. Who decided that parking garages were a good idea? The only benefits they provide are: shelter from the weather and a guaranteed spot (or at least the illusion of a guaranteed spot, until somebody's boyfriend decides to stay the night and thinks that because your car isn't there that you're not using the space).

We are lucky. All of the windows are intact and all that appears to be missing is a ninety dollar Swiss Army knife I got as a gift from an ex-boyfriend (good riddance, although it was a nice knife). I guess we don't own much of value...

I recommend NOT parking your car in the underground garage unless the weather threatens to cause greater damage than the inevitable thieves.
