1.) The application of Keynesian economic theory, which advocates government intervention in the free market as a means of avoiding economic disaster, is responsible for deepening and extending the Great Depression of the early 20th century, not ending it.

2.) Human caused global warming is an idiotic myth propagated by politicians and other government bureaucrats who either don't know what they're talking about, or are intentionally lying for the purpose of enriching themselves monetarily.

3.) The Democrat party is the most historically racist, intolerant and corrupt of any U.S. political party.

4.) It is a practical impossibility to tax only wealthy people, because all taxes trickle down to make the poorest citizens poorer, either through rises in the costs of goods and services, decreased wages, rent increases, or all three.

5.) Barack Hussein Obama has never proved that he is a natural born citizen of the United States, nor has he ever been asked to do so by any government agency.

6.) A human fetus is, by definition, human. It is also undeniably alive, therefor, to undergo an abortion is to commit a homicidal act.

7.) Charles Darwin's macro-evolution (speciation) hypothesis is not a fact, nor is it even partially supported by genuine, scientific evidence. It is a modern day mythology embraced primarily by members of the pseudo-religion known as Humanism.

8.) Fascism, Marxism and Nazism are all left-wing ideologies invented by the forerunners of contemporary European socialists.

9.) Nowhere in the U.S. Constitution will you find the phrase "separation of church and state," or any other words to that effect. The First Amendment merely prohibits the federal Congress from establishing an official religion of the United States. It does not prohibit that branch of government, or any other, from openly recognizing or honoring the religious beliefs and practices of the vast majority of Americans.

10.) The modern environmentalist movement is responsible for more human deaths worldwide over the past 30 years than automobile accidents, drug/alcohol abuse, and warfare combined.

Justice Hugo Black tossed in the "separation of church and state" clause because he wanted to reinterpret it. He used a letter from Thomas Jefferson to a church in CT as excuse to add that in. Liberals are more concerned about Black's clause than the actual constitution. That was around the 1950's when the Court was doing a lot of legislating, which is the job of the legislature, not the judicial branch.

Edward, In response to my saying that Darwin's theory is only a theory, not a law like the law of Gravity. I had one moonbat tell me, and he actually said it with a straight face, that it's the theory of gravity and he'd never heard that it was the Law of Gravity..... ummmmm ya sport, ;) you go back to your teachers in college and bitch slap them upside the head for me..... banging my head on the desk.

Amen on #9, they've said it so loud and so often that they have actually convinced themselves that it's actually written in the Constitution.... a lie told often enough becomes the truth.... grrrr ;)

Why do the majority of people not realize the above facts? While the right was busy being productive, responsible citizens... the left was busy taking over colleges, universities, Hollywood, mainstream media, etc. Liberals have been using their power positions to perpetuate the myths of their choosing and brainwash the masses. As our country embraces the lefty propaganda, we are becoming ignorant to the facts. Instead of turning to the wisdom of our Creator, the tried and true principles of our Founding Fathers, our country is turning to big government and the MSM. The "values" of the left contradict history, logic, reason... and are taking America to hell in a handbasket.

I can tell you one reason why so many people seem to be turning to socialism in this country... it doesn't take any effort to be a socialist. Being a capitalist, on the other hand, is hard damned work, both physically and intellectually.

Capitalists profit from capital invested or labor managed. Trust funds are long term capital investments which increase by the efforts of paid (labor) investors or labor managers or both. So it is an extremist position to claim capitalists work hard. Some capitalists NEVER work, never produce ANYTHING.

10 for 10 brother! I love debating that 1st Amendment issue with pinko, commie libs cuz I love watching their fuzzy lil heads explode when I pro e them wrong. You're right, the words "separation of church & state" appear nowhere in the US Constitution, it's from a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote to a Baptist minister in Danbury, CT in 1802. These shit nuts cant comprehend that the ONLY purpose of the Establishment Clause was to prevent the Federal Government from forming a government sponsored religion & thats all it meant. Conservatives read the Constitution for what it says, liberals read it for what they want it to say. They find the right to welfare, healthcare, gay marriage, abortion & other bullshit that isn't there but they can't seem to find the Right to keep and bear Arms. Typical socialists.

"Respecting" is separation. Equal treatment under law is our government. It defines the Social contract of the USA. Not only is the separation of Church and state implied emphatically in our founding primary law it is repeated redundantly to drive that point home. NO LAW respecting ANY religion over ANY other. Law is our government. Substituting "law" with "OUR government" is helpful. No law (USA government, USA State government, USA County government, USA city government) may RESPECT (separate one from another in regards to law application, not meaning insulting or courteous) ANY religion. Equal protection under law.

Congress shall make no law respecting (it is not a level of courtesy or rudeness, it is an unequal application of LAWS) an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of
grievances.

Put simply: No Theocracy. It was LEGAL for citizens to speak rudely of ANY or ALL or none of religion. That is a different application of the word RESPECT. But US laws cannot be "rude" or "courteous" to religion unequally, or a lack of religion in the USA. Treatment by law (government) must be equal.

Save the U.S.

In addition to what New Sons of Liberty posted, it can also be said that of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence all were Christians. The exception being that Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson have been accused of being Deists. However, there is plenty of eveidence to refute those claims.
Of the 55 signer of the Constitution, all but Franklin are undoubtedly Christians and most were clergymen.

Thomas Jefferson's letter to the Danbury Baptists reads as follows:

"To messers. Nehemiah Dodge, Ephraim Robbins, & Stephen S. Nelson, a committee of the Danbury Baptist association in the state of Connecticut.

Gentlemen

The affectionate sentiments of esteem and approbation which you are so good as to express towards me, on behalf of the Danbury Baptist association, give me the highest satisfaction. my duties dictate a faithful and zealous pursuit of the interests of my constituents, & in proportion as they are persuaded of my fidelity to those duties, the discharge of them becomes more and more pleasing.

Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church & State. Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties.

I reciprocate your kind prayers for the protection & blessing of the common father and creator of man, and tender you for yourselves & your religious association, assurances of my high respect & esteem.

Th Jefferson
Jan. 1. 1802."

The middle paragraph was introduced by Jefferson to Congress.

The phrase "thus building a wall of separation between Church and State" does not appear in the First Amendment because it was rejected by Congress. Congress believed that Church and State existed in harmony with one another; not apart from one another.

Smart people talk to devout Christians, or anyone, respecting whatever those people cherish. If every signer of the Declaration were indeed devout Christians THAT demonstrates how important the founders believed is the separation of church and state. By your own logic. They were all of identical faith, yet opposed theocracy.

Clearly the orthodoxy of thinking among the political class from the very beginning of our nation was to openly praise God and embrace the Judeo-Christian ethic. That is an indisputable fact. To argue otherwise is simple ridiculous.

It was the modern environmentalist movement that got DDT banned worldwide in the mid 1970s. That single act has since led directly to the deaths of tens of millions of men, women and children - particularly in Africa - from malaria and other insect-propagated diseases.

1 million humans die of malaria since DDT was banned. In 1962 Rachel Carson's "Silent Spring" put the dogma in place which was embraced and supported by "Environmentalists". But why be vague? Greenpeace, the World Health Organization (WHO), EPA's William Ruckelhaus, the UN's "Environmental Programme" and of course the producers of MALATHION all benefited from ignoring the human benefits of DDT and the scientific evidence demonstrating its superiority to MALATHION in regards to its effects on human health. In fact the WHO abandoned mosquito eradication altogether and instead supports the creation of a still non-existent vaccine and quinine treatment after the fact. The WHO and UN are the "environmentalists" who support the eradication of humans, not the mosquito.

Creation and evolution are semantic differences describing an identical process. One defines the process with a personage, the other does not personify that same process. A fool says in his heart that there is no process.
