After a month off from bouting at home, we're back with 2 big games in the next 4 weeks! Plus the return of the DDG All-Stars and our first Saturday Night bout at the VBC! See below.

| August 24th |
The Dixie Derby Girls chased Mobile Roller Derby back to the Black Lagoon with a final score of DDG 140, MRD 100.
|

| September 20th |
Dixie Derby Girls All-Stars traveled to Ft. Wayne, In where they participated in their first WFTDA tournament. The girls were knocked out in their first two games by Cincinnati Roller Girls and the Ohio Roller Girls, but they learned some new strategies and saw a ton of great derby!

| October 11th |
DDGs will be selling off all their worldly possessions this weekend in Harvest! Stop by the neighborhood yard sale and support the girls. We'll have tons of stuff as well as baked goods for sale. Don't miss it! 270 Vine Cliff Dr. Harvest Al.

| October 25th |
Join us at McCalisters on University Dr. from 5-9pm. Derby girls will be waiting and bussing tables. When you order, tell them you're with DDG and 10% of your purchase amount will go to the league! We'll also be collecting donations at tips. |

We're RECRUITING!!!
Want to be a Derby Girl? Referee? Now is your chance! We'll give you all the information you'll need to make it through our recruitment process and become a Dixie Derby Girl (or Ref). If you want to go through the recruitment process you need to come see us!
Who: Ladies Age 19 or older (to be a derby girl) and Guys or Ladies interested in being Referees. No experience is required! We do ask that you be able to stay up on skates and skate around the rink without falling. We'll teach you the rest!
When: Wednesdays: 6:30 - 8:00 pm or Thursdays 9:00-10:00pm
Where: Roller Time (707 Arcadia)
What to bring: Some aggression and determination
