I won 'Best Roots Instrumental' recently for my tune 'Cracks in the Floor' from my solo 'Bang Bang' CD... The award was part of the JPF Independent Music Awards, the largest indie music awards show in the world... all genre's of music were noted. The awards show was in Nashville, TN at the Wildhorse Saloon.. I was able to attend and accept my award.. I was also nominated for 'Best Bluegrass Album' and 'Best Bluegrass Song' for a tune I co-wrote with Roberta Gordon (The Gordon's) for the tune "I Can't Settle Down" also off my 'Bang Bang' CD... I was an honor and I appreciate all the hard work that JPF does for indie music.
