What
a gorgeous day it is in Melbourne today. I just took a walk down the river, and
the air is gently scented with wattle. Young birds are learning the art of
being birds from their watchful parents. My dog Geronimo was just swooped by a little
Willy Wagtail
, and he maintained a totally nonchalant manner while the bird was flitting
around his head! Very funny. ....

I
hope you all had a wonderful Beltaine (Southern Hemisphere) or Samhain (Northern).
Mine was lovely. My birthday on the 31st was very joyous, and began with
a visit to the beach on the Gold Coast in Queensland where Rachel and I had
performed at the excellent GAIA conference the night before. We then flew down to Melbourne and met my
beloved Tim at the airport (he’s arrived safely from Nevada) before embarking
on a night of ritual and frivolity that lasted till dawn. Thanks so much for
the many birthday messages. Our Beltaine ritual involved a walk of the local
Labyrinth, which was looking wonderful after our community clean up of the week
before. I’ve loaded the photos of the working bee on my FACEBOOK
page, where you can see the Labyrinth emerging from the long grass. ....

also had a chance to sort through a few tour photos, and have uploaded some
images of my trip to Chicago, and my adventures with a crazy purple tutu that
we found in a thrift store. ....

THE VOICE IN RITUAL WORKSHOP: THIS SUNDAY,
NOV 8th....
I still
have a couple of places available in my one-day workshop . The class is limited
to 10 people, and is held at my house in Clifton Hill, Melbourne. The workshop
runs from midday until 5pm, and the cost is $60. It will be a wonderful day,
sharing meditation, chant, and breathwork. Please email me ASAP if you are interested, as
the places will definitely fill at my gig on Saturday. ....
