Crazy ass wii-kend

Have been drunkenly sleeping in my pickup bed for three days now.

Finally home.

Wanna thank the Parks family, and the rest of the good folks of Stillwater Camp for the great food and equally great pickin'.

Heard some great new bluegrass songs and met some wild characters.

Discovered that I have exceptionally weak negotiating skills during a poor attempt at purchasing a kerosene lamp at a yard sale in Winfield KS.

Guy had eyes like stone.

Also, upright basses and golf carts don't work well together.

Got to play Edwards' song "KCS Line" with the Parks Fam on camp stage 5.
Sounded really cool...its always a pleasure playing with that bunch.
Just a crew of genuinely good people who happen be great players as well.
No bullshit involved.

Got started this month on our record with Mike Mcclure.
Been a cool experience as of yet.
He uses a lot of props.

Not something you generally associate with record producers.

Oddly effective.

Its extremely hard to be frustrated around a guy wearing a powdered wig and an army helmet.

He keeps it light.

Musicians are six-year-olds and the studio is the Dentist's Office.

Give some candy and its not so bad.

I came crawling up his stairs with a banjo and broke this set of weird ceramic teeth.
I just remember saying "Man, I broke your damn teeth."

Weird thing to say in any situation.

I'll find you some better tooths.
