Here is a somewhat incomplete listing of the OFM performances of yestermoment:
11/18/2006 Fletcher's Baltimore, Maryland 21231 Description: Join us at Fletcher's on Saturday November 18 for OFM's big break(dance)! They are opening the night for Rocco DeLuca and The Burden, the band popularized by being the first to be signed to Keifer Sutherland's Ironworks Records. Apparently even more buzzowrthy is Messer Sutherland's inebriated shenanigans on the movie coming out about the making of Rocco's first record. So that's all it takes for temporary, marginal suck-sess? Well we also have a list of celebrities, albeit C-listers, that will gladly get drunk on camera for us. In fact, Adventure is on the phone right now with Ian Ziering, and I think Eddie ran into Tiffany Brissette the other day. Small Wonder it's taken us this long to realize our fool potential.. http://www.roccodeluca.com
11/9/06 98 Rock Baltimore, MD
10/30/2006 Scott Base Pram Point Ross Island, AQ The final stop before returning home for Halloween, we are very excited to have the big show in Antarctica. The crisp air, the penguin fritters, and the roar of 40 scientists cheering us on should make for the experience of a lifetime. As if that's not enough, we get to bring back a few cases of ice wine to share with good friends over the holy days.
10/29/2006 Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport Tarmac Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport Bombay, IN Not so much a "show" as us just hopping out of the plane in Bombay on a layover, doing a little barbershop number, then scrambling back inside the steel bird before we get arrested.
10/28/2006 The Arthur C. Clarke Memorial Monolith Leslie's House Cinnamon Gardens, LK Pink Floyd have disbanded, and Guns N' Roses aren't very good any more, so Arthur Clarke chose his next favorite band to headline the opening of the brand new Arthur C. Clarke Memorial Monolith. We're hoping to crank the amps up to 11, hit the 13th harmonic, and activate the monolith in Jupiter-space. You will immediately know if we're successful..
10/26/2006 Saxophone Pub Victory Monument Bangkok, TH It is a shame that our schedule will not permit us to stop in Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, or Taiwan on our way from China, but we are super jazzed to be playing at the Saxophone Pub in Bangkok. We're doing two sets tonight: the first, a normal set of our strongest original material, the second, a performance of "Chess" in its entirety. It's sure to make a hard man humble!
10/24/2006 Xintiandi Ark Chinese Communist Party Square Shanghai, CN We are so excited about our first gig in China that we're shaving our beards and backs! It's part water ballet as well, so our new hairless forms will be more streamlined and hydrodynamic.
10/23/2006 Club Quattro 10F Parco Hon-kan Hiroshima, JP It's back to the beat for the boys as they make their first stop in Japan to the Club Quattro, reputedly one of the finest venues in Hiroshima. Christopher has charged us with bringing back several cases of saki. He says it helps his video editing and, after watching the rough cut of the EPK, I couldn't agree less.
10/21/2006 Frazier's on the Avenue 919 W. 36th Street Baltimore, MD OFM splits atoms and drinks nattys with Puddle--- Special guests Valeze from Brooklyn, NY and Kheris from Lancaster. PA will make their initial baltimore sorties...
10/18/2006 Pirahnas Cafe and Bar Northern Press Rd, Martintar Nadi, FJ We have to literally jet right from Australia to Fiji to make it to this gig. But once on the ground, we will proceed to rock the Shaivite mohras off of the unsuspecting good-times tourists. After we play, we become unsuspecting good-times tourists for a few days of R&R (rest and remuneration).
10/17/2006 Queensland's Pot Panic 27 Peel St South Brisbane, AU This legendary festival in Queensland will be forever changed after OFM arrives and breaks all of the other bands' equipment, securing us an all day set. Pot Panic indeed.
10/15/2006 Old Man Fanny's 728 West End Rd Melbourne, AU After alienating ourselves from the Perth locals with our endless lisping, we will head around the southern rim to Melbourne in search of the Tasmanian Devil and rock. We're opening for The Lollipop Ladies, so be sure to get there early and thtick around! Sorry, couldn't help myself on so many levels...
10/13/2006 Midnight Drongo 49 Hay Street Perth, AU Our firtht thtop on our Thuper Computer Verthuth The Elathtic Writhtwatcheth Tour, I hear that Perth ith the betht plaith in Wethtern Authtralia. When we hit town, keep your eyeth open and your handth on your purth..
