"Several years ago, during a time of worship, I saw an image of what looked like a group of young hippies holding a sign that read Make Love, Not War. But as I kept looking, the message changed to Make Love, Make War. And as soon as that one word changed, I suddenly sensed that God himself was holding the sign. That image was the genesis for this book. And the more I thought about it, the more I believed that this prophetic message was not just for me, but for all those desiring to worship God in spirit and truth, bravely and freely. God is calling us to love AND to battle!

"As a framework for the book, I’ve used some of the songs I’ve written over the years, some familiar like Come, Now Is The Time To Worship, as well as some new recordings like It’s Time For The Reign of God. And I’ve also included an appendix just for worship leaders and song writers where I try to share what I’ve learned so far; hard-learned lessons I hope will encourage and inspire.
