Who Gives Kudos:

These days when you are recording if you sing out of tune the computer can correct your pitch. If you are out of tempo you can quantize and be right back on the beat in the computer. If you have 3 choruses you can just get one of them right, make a copy and cut and paste. The only thing is something in our human ear picks all of that up and the more it's done the more displeasing it is to us. Not to mention the guilt factor that you're cheating. And yet some people still believe you can do a horrible job worshiping the Lord musically and somewhere between here and heaven one of the angels, Melodynes, quantizes, and perfects it before the Lord hears it? Of course God is more interested in the heart but since he created the artist and the art he loves it when we serve him up a feast in our worship that isn't microwaved.

Make a joyful noise!....the angels will come sing with you and mix your stuff live HA!  Your right!  It is a heart thing!  The joy of the Lord makes critiquing disappear...woow hoow!  Lose yourself in the Lord and float it out if you don't have the deep swimming down yet I have to...I have to  float or not get in the water at all.  We are there to minister to the Lord anyhow right?  When my child plays his piano and misses notes it doesn't matter to me, I love the enthusiasm.  My child is my favorite piano player, and doesn't even know how to play it yet!

good word, though for us and with  recording LIVE FROM THE STREETS WORSHIP, we would be in a mess without Melodyne, Great tool and so needed , but point well taken!!!
