This blogging stuff takes way more time than i thought. Thank you to everyone thats been reading and responding letting me know what ya think. The past 2 weeks have been crazy with being on the west coast and steam rolling through our community outreach event WE GIVE A JAM so we got alot of work to do to catch up. I got some pics and such coming from San Francisco coming but 1st things 1st.
Alright for those of you who don't know my crew and I have been putting together charity events and fund raisers for inner schools and kids for the last 3 years. One at Xmas time called "Trills The Season" which is super dope but we'll get into that more when the time comes, and another
" We Give A Jam ". This a 2 on 2 Bboy battle to raise school supplies for Kids who don't have adequate supplies to get them through the school year.
So in short heres the deal-
We sponsor a school in the hood, throw a bboy jam there anyone attending or battling must bring a $10.00 in school supplies staff, students and area families are invited to come out free of charge. In the end the school that hosts this battle gets the supplies raised through the event. Everyone has a great time and kids get to see a side of hiphop culture thats not shown in mainstream media, so it's a learning experience.
So shout out to all the sponsors, volunteers, staff, Bboys and Bgirls, Comp1, The Free Radicals for making it live, The Houston Press and anyone thats not coming to mind right now.
Alright now that you know that here we go
