So it's Sunday afternoon and I'm cleaning my room. There is an abundance of dust bunnies and a scarcity of carrots so I'm not really sure what they're doing here...
But while I wait for my blanket and sheets to finish being cleansed by our overworked and underappreciated washer/dryer, I figured I'd check in with you all.

We are very happy that the new songs have gotten such a warm reception. We have one more (we basically recorded a trilogy of songs that went together melodically and thematically) and we aren't sure when to unleash the third track. It's definitely a different sound for us... Maybe we'll just put it up on the page and see what happens. I guess keep your eyes peeled for that.

We've got a slew of shows coming up in the new year and we have one more this year. December 20th at The Auction House in Audobon, NJ. This show is a special one, I think. It's a small venue and we have the honor of sharing the stage with 56 Men. These seasoned veterans of music are an inspiration to us. I remember being about 13 years old and having just gotten my first guitar, watching Jon, Joe, and my father play. And now we have the honor of sharing the stage with two of them. Never got to get my dad up on stage with us... although his talent would have made us all look silly and he would have stolen the show.

Anyway... We're still writing also. We've got so many ideas and are trying to focus in on a few things at a time. Maybe we'll record some more new stuff in the New Year although it's a bit hard to finance the recordings ourselves *cough cough*.

I don't really have any insightful things to say other than that this time of year, although crazy, hectic, and joyless at times, is special. There definitely is some magic in the air. I had a talk with Chris's dad last night and it's good to see that there are people who still have traditional values as far as family goes. I need to watch "It's a Wonderful Life"...
