Melanie Horsnell & The Inflatable Girlfriends - Sydney-based, Melanie Horsnell is a writer and singer and has been performing across Australia for more than a decade. She has also recently toured overseas and will release her new album, “Complicated Sweetheart” this month.

Brianna Carpenter - Brianna began song writing at the age of 13 and describes her music as “a mix of folky alternative pop”.  Her debut album, “Harlequin” was released this year and she has just completed her Bachelor of Popular Music degree at the Griffith Conservatorium of Music.

Emma Donovan - Emma is establishing herself as one of Australia's finest indigenous singer songwriters. Originally from northern NSW, Emma includes her traditional language, Gumbayngirr, in many of her songs. Emma has just released a five track EP and video called “Ngarraanga”.

Ray Isaac - Based in Sydney, Ray Isaac is a singer, songwriter and DJ who has been performing for more than nine years. He describes his signature style as expressing “pain, love and redemption” which combine to create his own brand of pop-infused soul. Ray's album, “Goodbye Innocence” will be released this year.

Kate Vigo - Melbourne-based, Kate Vigo has recently released a single and video clip “The Way You Are”, the first single  from her upcoming album to be released this year. She performs with her four to eight piece band or her ten piece, “The Underground Orchestra” and has been described as “a truly original artist”.

Mojada - The band from Bondi in Sydney, consists of Marco Yellin, Chad Kendrick and Wesley Roy and has been described as “…like John Butler jamming with Michael Hutchence.” They have toured in the US and released their latest EP this year called “Exactly”.

Rock
The Violet Flames - The Violet Flames are a three-piece rock band, based in Melbourne but originally hailing from Perth. Formed by three friends after high school, the band relocated to Melbourne last year after supporting Bon Jovi at Subiaco Oval. They have just finished recording songs for their second album.

The Moderns - Hailing from the Gold Coast, this four person band released a single, “Get out of here” last year. They have toured in Queensland and played at last year's International Indy 300 on the Gold Coast. The band describes its music as creating songs that “people can enjoy, relate to and be inspired by.”

Finabah - Named after Swedish slang meaning cool or hip, this four person band started playing in the garage, and have since toured the East Coast of Australia twice. Their first EP was called, “Wishing for Wings” and they released a single in June this year called “Sugarcoat”.
