Greetings:
Blank Surfaces is an entertainment video journal based in part on the trade
journal Reel Carolina Journal of Film & Video. The show is produced
by Across the Canvas Productions, a company founded in 1978. It is my
belief that the information provided on our mission page at our web site states
our purpose in very simple terms.

Though Blank Surfaces is now in its 6th season, many people outside of the
industry do not understand its concept - a program that in its rawest form is
just another avenue for talents to highlight their abilities to other people in
the industry. This being said, and after the casting in Mount Airy, NC. I created a new casting
page. In addition, I would like to add that the casting in Mount Airy was the first time and the last
time we will ever approach casting for our show in that manner.

Blank Surfaces offers an opportunity for people to meet and be seen by people
in the industry across the US. Selected interviews are
seen on Blank Surfaces in North Carolina, in productions by Eno River Media
Productions from New York to Florida, and on Extra Syrup Productions Kids
Corporation the TV Show on the West Coast. Clips appear on the web at our two
myspace sites, our two youtube sites, and our main web page. Talents that
appear on our programs are also featured in the Reel Carolina Journal of Film
& Video as they have been for nearly 15 years when talents have worked on
our other projects. Top talents from major motion pictures and television
series appear as guests on Blank Surfaces regularly. Musicians from
around the world are featured on each edition. We also do skits and other
types of segments to highlight actors and performers. I would encourage
anyone with an interest in being seen on our show to first look at some of the
clips from our show or to read some of the articles featured in the Reel
Carolina Journal of Film & Video. Entertainment magazines, newspapers, and
other publications have highlighted Across the Canvas for over 30 years.
Blank Surfaces will premier in the ....Wilmington.... area on Charter Cable and Time
Warner Cable this month and later on will begin appearing in the Greater
Greensboro and Winston-Salem areas of North Carolina. This area includes Mount Airy. Our show is being shopped
for national distribution in April of 2010.
On an additional note: DVD copies of our programs are seen by top
industry professionals. IMDB links can be provided for our cast, crew,
friends, and supporters upon request.
