BRAINSTORM COMICS WATCH FOR WEDNESDAY, SEPT 23rd!
Welcome back to this weeks Brainstorm Comics Watch Newsletter! I'm getting the newsletter out early this week because we've got a ton of stuff to do to get ready for the Windy City Comic Con on Saturday.
WINDY CITY COMIC CON
This coming weekend, on Saturday Sept. 19th is the 2nd Annual Windy City Comic Con at Center on Halsted, located at 3656 N Halsted, Chicago, IL 60613. The event will start at 10am and run till 6pm. For a complete list of retailers and creators appearing at this event check out the cons website at windycitycomicon.com.
We're going to be blowing out BACK ISSUES for only $1.00 a piece. And we'll have a Windy City Comic Con Short Box Special. It's real simple. Fill a short box with 100 comics for $75.00. Did I mention that we'll throw in the box as well? Oh, and we'll also have a coupon for people spending $25 dollars at the booth that will get them 25% off their next purchase. And we'll have raffle tickets available at the booth for our upcoming KOMIC BOOK KARAOKE!
KOMIC BOOK KARAOKE
What could possibly make karaoke better? How about dressing up as your favorite comic book superhero (or villain) and then singing your little heart out! Throw in a raffle with some really great prizes and you've got a win/win situation! And that's what we call KOMIC BOOK KARAOKE!
Help us celebrate our 6 year anniversary by coming out to the Blue Frog on October 4th. We're still figuring out what time it will run on Sunday evening. We have confirmed that there will be Free Tarot Card Readings by Aly De Luca of caffe De Luca!
We currently have raffle tickets available at the store. We cannot take payments through Paypal for the raffle tickets. Against their rules. Sorry. But if you want to email us or call us, we can set you up.
Raffle tickets are $5 a ticket, 3 for $10. And you do NOT have to be present to win when we do the drawing at the Blue Frog on October 4th. So what kind of prizes do we have? How's this?

FIRST PRIZE - Winner will get first pick of which set of CHICAGO BULLS TICKETS they want, plus a $250 cash pot! If a game was not picked and the winner is not present, then the winner of the second prize will get first pick of game tickets.
SECOND PRIZE - Winner will get the second pair of CHICAGO BULLS TICKETS, plus $100 in assorted gift certificates!
THIRD PRIZE - Winner gets a $250 dollar shopping spree at Brainstorm!
There are a number of other gift certificates that will be given away in various groupings after these three prizes.
And if you have something you would like to donate for the raffle, just contact us and we'll be sure to get your prize listed. Gift certificates, gift baskets or professional services...whatever you would like to be raffled off for our cause. It's great advertising and it's a chance to come out and have some fun in your alter ego.
