I got to see STP twice in 2008! I saw them in Kansas City at Rockfest, and then in October in Lincoln, Nebraska! I would have to say that my fav was the show in Lincoln becasue it was smaller, and we were so close to the stage. Also I got to meet Eric, Robert & Dean and that itself made my year! STP played some music in between songs that sort of had a blues feel to it, I really enjoyed the experience. I hope to see them again soon. You can count on me being in the forst row! LoL! Have a good one guys!

I especially liked the bit where Scott Weiland minces along the edge of the stage, with a face that looks like the crack addict love-child of Keith Richards and the moon. And boy can that guy no longer sing. Pretentious poo-chute investigator.

I really hate to say this but I was at a show in July in WI and Scott was most definitely under the influence of something. He was terrible on stage and seemed to barely be able to stand. I've been an STP fan for 15 years and it was my first opportunity to see them. It was extremely disappointing. However, the rest of the band was in very good shape, but it was unfortunate that Scott's lack of a performance undermined their talent and efforts.

The Dallas show (well, "grand prairie", psh) rocked more ass than I thought possible. You guys were clearly enjoying yourselves after so long away, and the crowd was giving it right back. The impromptu jams were awesomesauce, the quick little Queen cover was too cool, and of course the set list was amazing and performed with what Rock Shows REALLY need from the band: ENTHUSIASM.

It was the first concert I took my brother to, and it'll be an experience neither of us will forget. You guys rock socks.

July 31,2008 in El Paso, Texas is when we got blessed with the presence of STP. I had taken my 12 year old as her 13th birthday present . How awsome is that . I wish I had a mom like me LOL. We were in the front right in front of Robert. He gave My daughter a pick she got to sit on the stage stairs because I am only 5"3 and these 6 ft stupid boys were high and drunk off their butts were grabbing ppl and throwing them around and pushing on purpousee. So I had the bouncers pull my daughter out and they let her sit on the stairs (I knew one of them) Robert came down said hi to my daughter shook her hand and gave her a pick. We had a blast. They even brought up another young guy and he played Roberts bass for a song LOL .. So thank you STP you guys are fucking awsome and its really cool to grow up listening to you guys and then actually go to a concert and sing along with my own daughter. 2 generations together. How fucking awsome !!! MUCH LOVE , RESPECT, And ADMIRATION....Leslie & Christina (my daughter)

I was planning on the KC show but had a wedding that day so I drove from Lawrence all the way to St. Louis just to see you guys play. It was nauseating having to sit through the opening acts (except Chevelle), because the anticipation of seeing one of the greatest rock bands in history was killing me. I'd have to say the best part of the concert experience was standing with thousands of people that knew every word to every song and not being embarrassed to raise a beer in the air and sing along to "Creep" or "Big Empty," and then have every one hang on each word of "Trippin on a Hole" (even though most of us probably don't know all of the words) and then wrap it up with a megaphone and some "Dead & Bloated." Sadly Radiohead was my favorite concert of the year, but STP was second and that's a big deal. It was awesome.

Oh my gosh!!! I was soooo thankful that I got to see STP in Charlotte on Aug-17. It was my first Stone Temple Pilots show and I hope it won't be the last one. I hope you guys continue to make great music together and tour again soon! I am going through STP withdrawls. But the concert was amazing. Besides the fact that Scott was late and we got cut out of 3 songs the concert rocked and Scott sounded amazing.

I was so pumped during that concert. I was so glad I was front row and I got to experience my favorite band from so close. Lounge fly was one of my favorite moments with creep and Interstate Love Song but nothing compared to the feeling when they first hit the stage and I heard the first riffs to Big Empty! That shit was orgasmic. I have a video of that moment and I was going histeric. I lost it right then and there. Another favorite moment was when Scott said something like "I have a feeling that this is going to be a good crowd." We all cheered out loud. (Honestly I thought our crowd was pretty mellow!)

Another favorite moment was having "moments" with Robert. I got a couple of looks from him, he jammed right in front of me and even leaned down to me whenever I cheered him on... and he threw a pick at me which I missed it. It was awesome to watch Robert from upclose. You can see that Robert really gets into the music and the crowd. He is really humble and you can see that he loves every minute that he is on the stage. He really likes looking at the crowd and he seems to pay attention to people. I left that concert absolutely in love with Robert. He is sooo awesome.

I loved Crackerman and Dead and Bloated too. The entire concert was amazing. There were not a lot of moments where the band was goofing around to much because they were pressed for time our venue had a 11pm curfew. But I saw some videos online from other shows like Robert tap dancing and Scott singing a song about cow tipping or something crazy like that! It was an awesome tour and I wish I had gone see more shows from this tour. I hope you guys come back soon!

The show at The Hard Rock, Hollywood, kicked ass!
Band was only 15 minutes late, which is amazing, compared to Velvet Revolver!!! haha
Could have done another 15 minutes worth of material, but it was amazing to see STP again!

Scott should really get off the road and take care of himself. His solo album will do what it will do, but he shouldnt tour off of it.

Get better. Make 1 more STP album, and spend the rest of your life with your kids and family. Hey, that's my advice.

I forgot to add, my favorite moment (sorry, it wasn't on this tour) was at the Family Values tour in 2001 in Atlanta. I was wearing angel wings since the concert was on Halloween. It was so crowded I took them off and everyone around me chanted... "Wings for Scott" so I got to get in the front row and Scott took them from me and wore my wings on stage through the first four songs. Then he said "the angel wings are clipped" and gave them back to me personally! I still have them in my apartment today.

I saw the Houston show in June, a few days after my daughter was born. I was blown away! It was a truly awesome sight to see a band that I didn't think I would ever get to see. THEN we also saw the show at Voodoo Fest in New Orleans in October. My wife got to go to that one. New Orleans kicked Houston's ass! We missed Eric but Ray filled in seamlessly and really put on a show! Thanks for the amazing music. Please tour again!!!

Oh but I forgot to talk about a specific favorite moment. It would have to be Loungefly in New Orleans. Scott stole everyones' souls with that song. By the way, before that song, Scott told a story saying "I was walking down Decatur St. with my friend Panhead and I went in a store and saw a shirt that said 'Loungefly.' So I ate it." Well it turns out he didn't eat it because he came out wearing it later in the show. The next day, I went in every freaking store on Decatur St. to try to find that shirt and I couldn't find it. So if anyone knows what I'm talking about or where to get that shirt, let me know!!! Thanks again.

My buddy and me drove all the way to PNC in NJ from eastern LI to see you guys, (VR doesn't count, but seeing them cover STP songs made these shows a must). Filter came on and Opie & Anthony announced the new date for a NY show at Jones Beach and we thought, 'we came here b/c we thought there would be no NY show now we're gonna see them twice.' We had a great time on the lawn, but won the seat upgrade at jones beach and the show was even more awesome than PNC. Certanly looking back on those two summer shows with fond memories. Keep on going STP!

Sounds to me that SOMEONE needs to get a life. I have seen Scott, STP and VR many times and shit happens. FYI Scott was in FL just not able because of the weather to make it there if you remember the Hurricane jackass. Back off and did you ever think he has ZERO control over what can be done to make up dates. Have you ever worked in the Music business, most likely NO, well I have and new flash so much is put into these things not just hey we might fly in and do a show. Instead of acting like a Losser ASS post a nice blog post and request info. I for one know STP and Scott's alike both read and will sooner or later reply somehow some way. As for you being a fan, do me a favor and trash that ticket and PLEASE forget about Scott and STP we as a fan bas are much better without you!!......Now I feel like I am Scott Weiland posting a reply to some ass hole.....well Scott I did it for you and Doug keep trucking with the solo.....
