This is an ode to my cat, Harley, who passed away this morning. I love him very much and will miss him immensely.

I just wish I wasn't home alone right now =[ My mom is out of town, I called my dad and he's going to try to get off work so we can take him to the vet to get him cremated. Poor kitty =*[ He had a bad heart, and probably died of a heart attack.... I'm a wreck.

Thats so sad, but he had a good long happy life. I know how you feel, when my yorkie died two years ago I was in bits for months. I still can't think about her today without getting tearful.

I am so so sorry..losing a pet is one of the hardest things to go through...al least he had you in his life....below is a poem someone gave me when I lost my lady....

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Harley was the the coolest cat I've ever known. He was well behaved, even if he was over zealous when being fed (he loved his food), he was loving and found in just about anyone's lap a comfortable place to nap. He purr was legendary - well maybe not legendary but loud....he wasn't named Harely for nothing. He was patient and never scratched even when Sugar used him as a chew toy when she was puppy.

He was more than a pet, he was a member of the family....and Sugar's best friend.

We will miss him...

Oh, Adri, I really sorry this :(
Lost a pet is so sad, after all the moments you passed with them, it's sad when you see all the physical placer where they were at...
I sorry and I hope you are strong to go on.
