There are some good singers and bands over the net nowadays. A few years ago, it was pretty hard to get new music: you needed to search every single search site (hey, who recalls "altavista" as the best search site?) to get any good song that wasn't encoded in a 64kbps MP3. With MySpace and YouTube, things got a little different.

If you take a close look at YouTube, you may notice the "feature videos" slot under the ad bar. Last year I watched for the first time a video from a MySpace Star that I really enjoyed: Terra Naomi. She used to record her singing with a web cam and post it over the web. Her greatest hit is "Say it's possible", but the song I link here, which is my favorite, is "Something good to show you", a song about peace and to end all wars.

Not long after the YouTube success, Terra signed with a major: Island Records. She'll probably be hitting the road soon, so take your time and watch and listen to her.
