First, thanks to all of you who have been so supportive with the CD and helping me with radio play!! Very exciting stuff..May is a very busy month and on Saturday May 30th, I'll be performing as part of Chick Singer Night at Johnny D's in Somerville. It's 4 - 7 p.m. and the proceeds go to support local arts in schools. Music is so important and yet it's one of the first things to be cut from schools when they have lack of funds. If it wasn't for choir, I wouldn't have been interested in singing in bands and writing. It was such a huge part of my life from elementary school to high school.
Also on Friday May 15th I'll be opening for Ernie and the Automatics again (my hubby Brian on lead vocals and keys...), this time with a trio consisting of me, Tony DiPietro on drums and Dave Fischer on guitar. I am so excited - it's going to be a blast! We'll be at the C Note in Hull, MA...
