I keep to myself on politics and I think that I am pretty middle of the road: the best candidate should be the next in office.  Now that being said, I am horrified with the thought that Sarah Palin, if John McCain is elected, could be our next President.  Now, I think that everyone has the right to their own opinion and that's fine.  Though I have been doing some research, as I recommend anyone should before voting, and have seen a few of the things that Palin has got behind.  Not mentioning the "Bridge to Nowhere" and her lack of foreign policy experience, she wanted to ban books from her state.

What the hell?  Now, here is the list of books that she intended to ban (cited from multiple sources):

The Shining by Stephen King (promotion of un-Christian spiritual values such as telepathy; promotion of unhealthy disrespect for paternal figures; historical revisionism -- someone told me that the book was an indictment of Christian America's treatment of the pagan red Indian)
