I got a couple remarks in my inbox saying that I'm "fucked up" for not accepting requests from artists/bands. I'm sorry to say but I get more add requests from artists & bands than actual fans. How can I build a fanbase if everybody raps? What happened to fans? Where's the people that don't make music and just listen to it? Like my guy Sonny Bonoho told me awhile back, "If you threw a rock in a crowd full of people, you would hit a rapper" It's pretty discouraging when you meet somebody who's been a fan of your music and all of a sudden, they're inspired to do it. Most people I've inspired to rap after being a longtime fan of mine end up hating me because they feel like I owe them something. There's so many damn people deciding to pick up the mic that it makes your average person hate to support up-n-coming artists now. Your average person goes out in public and gets bombarded with muhfuckas trying to sell them their cd. Now every once & awhile, that person will support and buy the cd, just to come to the conclusion that they wasted their money on some bullshit.. so now they don't wanna support any good artists trying to do their thing because you thought it was cool to record a piece of shit album in your basement over a bunch of instrumentals you found on Limewire. I'm not a hater, I started out recording in my mom's basement with a $100 mic and Cool Edit Pro.. but as you can tell (unless you're a fuckin' moron) I've done nothing but progress. So due to all these things that help prevent me and many other good/hard-working artists from building a fanbase, I won't accept your add if you're an artist/band. Well.. not for awhile.. maybe when you muhfuckas calm down on thinking this is what you wanna do for a living.

Everyone and their mom thinks they can rap... which is whats devestating the music industry. Thanks to technology, any joe-blow who can rhyme on beat has made demos and flooded the labels and the streets with them. I remember when I was younger, making mix-tapes with turntables and 2 tape decks so I could multi-track, with a 16 channel peavy PA mixer and a couple of PA microphones.. Took forever to aquire that kind of equipment and alot of lawns mowed and alot of hours working minimum wage... that shit's dedication to your music. But now anyone can steal pro tools online and make beats with reason and thinks their gonna blow up.

I'm one of those cats who hates walking to the liquor store to be stopped by 15 different rappers, all talkin shit about each other about who's wacker than who trying to sell me their 'Debut Album' for 10 dollars only for me.. supporting local music, to buy all of them.. listen to them one time and throw them out the window of my car. I don't like doing that.. but if your game aint on point, dont play. Jesus.

i disagree with this blog... everyone starts out as a fan at one point, even you?
You are a good emcee and will make it far, so you stress on other people you've inspired. Honestly I'm not trying to hate or anything I'm saying what ..I feel and keeping it real..
