unpolished pine floor
showing wet foot prints

stalking the spirit
eyes dry and then blink

finding pure oil
and applying with strokes

when commitment
pours out of vows poked

beliefs can resurface
with fundamental efforts

but the light reflects
when hearts shine perfect
