We received a strange physical letter today from an unknown source through USPS which had been routed through canadapost.
The basics are it was an offer for participation in a "program" to "evaluate" a money sending institution.
Complete with a check for almost 3 grand which was to be deposited in our bank account, to supposedly cover all expenses and a nice payment for the evaluator.
I verified this as false through a few sources I go to for such things:
