Just back. The show was pretty darn good! I understand that Mandalay Bay is going to have all sorts of summer concerts and if you're going to be in Vegas anyway (on vacation?), be sure to see if there is a show that you may want to see as it is a cool place to see a show. If you've never been to Mandalay Bay, they have a pool that is really a beach. It has waves and everything. Well they put the stage up over the water and you listen to the show from the beach. Everyone gets towels (and with your drinks you order from the cabanas) you hang out and dance to the show. Some people even wade into the water and enjoy the show from there. The water is so nice and warm - perfect for a Go-Go's show.

 

The Go-Go's were definitely having a blast on stage and the feeling was transferred to us in the audience. As they said from the stage they've been playing in four decade (70's, 80's, 90's, 00's) and they're "pretty good for some old broads!" I've seen them a few times throughout the years (even got to meet them once a long time ago for a radio interview) and they definitely rocked at this show. Don't get me wrong, I know the limitations this group has, but it didn't matter. This is a fun show! If you have kids (and especially if you haven't been taking them to shows) take them to see the Go-Go's.

 

I can't wait for them to come near my home so I can see them again. Like, they totally have the beat, for sure, you know?
