in our
headlong plunge into mastery of our universe,
we have forgotten that we need
to throw rocks,
before we can hurl
thunderbolts...
once we come to terms with our
place within this universe,
our understanding of it will
greatly mature.
sometimes, the missing piece of
the puzzle is the most obvious.
plus, time has us at a
disadvantage.
(currently our perception and
experience with time is limited to the present
and the indirect transition to
the future)
we continue to over think
forward,
and reluctantly or fail to take
into account the past.
...and that everything has a
past
and will have a
future...
(the only exception to this
maybe the collapse of gravity, space and time at the event
horizon of a black
hole)
the top down approach is most
effective when deconstructing, or reverse engineering.
the bottom up approach is how
nature operates.
unfortunately, we are not a
patient species...
there is so much that we would
like to achieve and accomplish.
...but we want it
now
how do we come to be who we
are? we age...
its a series of baby
steps...
like those ceramic handprints
you made as a child,
the imprint of humanities
transition from infant to toddler has been
recorded on the surface of the
moon.
and as a precarious
toddler,
our interest in those things
just out of reach,
encourage and enable us to probe
deeper and further into the mysteries of this
universe.
...ever increasing the awareness
of ourselves and our place within
