hel all of u,

After a little tour in Brazil for winter...just want to give some news, photos and infos...stay tuned in!!

 I landed on Dec.22 in Sao Paulo...first surprise, lost my luggage… wonderful! and nobody to inform me, or just speak English around (international airport please!)... finally I had to fill out a form and wait until Sunday to get it back... I was still with my Paris' clothes, black t-shirt with pull over , jeans and baskets...35 degrees outside!...I lost 3 hours at the airport for nothing...finally I went out, my driver was there waiting to bring me to the hotel...to get some rest before the evening (2 parties the first night following my arrival...)

around 23H we took the ride to the first party in Campinas (1h30 from Sao Paulo (SP)..good club with around 1500 people...with Electrixx and Beckers as DJ partners...good start!!

Few hours later, the manager came around to bring me to the next party... Five hour drive to the north...Araraquara...open air party...in the forest..we arrived 1 hour late..but finally I started on live...I plugged everything in, asked the DJ if the sound was ok (every time check it by yourself! just some advice!..héhé)...so when I started...grigrougraaaa, the sound crashed...my computer. Couldn't repair it.. all the hardware on him was only with 110 volts...damned it! So after several attempts I had to play the track on CDs...the people were really kind with me and returned to the floor again like nothing had happened..héhé ouf!

Then drive back right after the Live.. no time to talk and discuss with anybody..7 hour drive to go back to Sao Paulo...

The week after was quite relaxed.. visiting around and starting to meet some people...preparing for the next week end...with 2 big events coming...

Saturday was the Vision quest party...in Guaruja. Unfortunetly I never arrived there...after waking up 3 times to get ready to go for nothing...The promoter decided to cancel the gig, the police were closing the party and controlling everybody...so not very many left when I was supposed to play...

The day after was on the run to go to Bahia...crazy Universo paralello festival...

I landed in Salvador the morning of 31.12... I had the good surprise to be with Deedrah at the airport..and some other 10 artists waiting for the bus...7 hours later..the bus finally arrived..very good one..only for us, but with a young driver, who, I guess, didn't have just the driver's license..héhé..he drove like crazy all the time...and at 20H when we left the party..the bus stopped and couldn't go further..He had broken the gear shift...héhé..we were stuck in a village with no communication working...22H30...finally a bus from the village just past through..we jumped in it...with all the material and luggage..it was quite funny to be in this bus..with all these kids sniffing  gas from lighters..and almost provocating us to have some reaction...some of the English was quite crude and swearing a lot ..héhé

We finally arrived at the village of the festival (20min of 4WD left to arrive at the party place...)..I had just jumped out of the bus and I met Bart from Antix..."hey Bart!!..I just arrived.. nobody is around to pick us up .." Bart: "hey Phil. Come with us we're staying with some artists in a house we rent over here on the beach front." We get to the place in 20 mins...perfect ride!!!

After meeting a few of them , we drove life safari style to the party place...we arrived right on time, 23h50 at the dance floor!! A few minutes left before the celebration, and I already had forgotten all the crazy day!.. Universo paradisio..I remember a long time ago, when I started to go to parties, I was thinking about the perfect party, beach, palm trees, beautiful girls wearing bikinis, nice music  and perfect sunny weather!...it was there!!!

The day after.. was just perfect...Starting the morning with Liquid soul,  Antix, Ace ventura, Perfect stranger and me...just amazing...!!look at the pics!

I stayed 3 days at the festival...I almost forgot they didn't care about finding a place to sleep...héhé..crazy people..

The weekend after.. I had a flight to Curitiba.. very good beach party...but it rained all night.. so not so many people left in the morning.. but a warm and sunny day was coming...I played both live and DJ...for like 5 hours.. the rain came back in the evening and the few people left jumped on the stage.. and I finished my set sitting under a plastic to protect us from the storm.. it was quite funny..héhé

After this party I finally took some days off with the friends from there...we went to Isla de mel (honey island)...paradise place...with lots of people , we could hear the reggae playing everywhere... just relax and enjoy the beach...perfect after a crazy week...

Then, I flew back to SP.. I treated myself to stay in a really good hotel with individual jacuzzi.. héhé luxury.. after such a rude time... :sol:

6 days after..I played in Campinas again at the Loft club...a place with many clubs around..

Good to be back to reality somehow...great party..

A few days after, I had to fly to Belo Horizonte.. in the south...very nice city and people...really different people.. more easy-going and friendly...the party was just great! The people really react well.. and I lost a part of my brain with the caiperinha.. héhé...3 young girls were trying to rape me..héhé.. the promoter "saved" me...You have to take your flight in 1 hour...héhé.. I escaped from the place, just had the time for a quick shower ..and with a big BMW and private driver...I arrived on time at the airport..

In Sao Paulo the next 2 weeks.. organising the next bookings... 3 of them never being confirmed...and I got the info only 1 day before, you can imagine the stress of the situation..

But I used this time to meet people and discover the place some more...between private parties, Samba school and tropical rains...

Finally the last party arrived ..in SP.. first time! at Manga Rosa...with all the friends from SP I met...very nice feeling and atmosphere.. perfect end of tour...I left the place full of emotion and good memories...the people were like crazy...crazy party!.. I think I really like caiperinha!! haha

I flew back on Feb.3 after 1,5 month in Brazil...with the feeling of accomplished work.. full of memories and new contacts for the next tours...
