No blogs for a while, sorry. After nearly 3 years a lot of things have surfaced and I am focusing on healing. I've been journaling and at some point I'll share. This journey has been long and hard and though I've been majorly blessed along the way, I'm struggling to keep my head up. I never thought it would be this hard. I know God will bring me through this. Thank you to those of you who have encouraged and prayed for me through the last few years. I am grateful that there are people I don't even know who care so much.

Keep up the hard work.  Try not to get too discouraged by people who may come along and trash you.  I've been talking with a few people this week who are having a tough time healing from different kinds of abuse.  It's easy to get discouraged and give up because of nasty things people say.  Learn to block them out and lean on God.  One of my favorite Scriptures is when Job is upset with God for allowing all these bad things to happen to him, but he still promises he will maintain his righteousness and not give up his integrity (Job 27:1-6).  Hang in there.

We're right there with you.  When one part of the body suffers, so does the entire body.  And, we are all equal in the body of Christ.  The President is just as important as the Bus Boy in the Lord's Kingdom.  "How can the eye say to the foot I don't need you?" (loosely paraphrased)  Wherever you are in your walk, chin up!  We need you

Just remember God is faithful. I am as well going through some difficulty with my job and trying to find a ministry job. Money is tight, times are difficult and friend are far away. Sometimes we feel God is no where. But this can be a opportunity for God to do something great in a dark moment.
Your not alone.
You have made great strides in the past three years many people including me are proud of you. Most importantly God is joyous what you have done with your life. Read James and the story about Joseph in Genesis. No matter how hard things got he stayed faith to God. God honored him in the end and will honor us by staying faithful to him no matter what.
Blessing

I hope for the best for you and will keep you daily in my prayers as you struggle and heal.  God has great things in store for you and will never leave your side.

"The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.  He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will hear their cry and save them.  The Lord preserves all who love Him..." (Psalm 145:18-20a)

May His Word serve to comfort and uplift you in your times of need.  God bless you.

Hang in there!

To my dear friend Christina, keep your head up and keep moving forward focusing on your healing.  I pray for you everyday asking God to heal you 110 % and to provide you with what you need.  You will come through this and God will make you stronger for having made the journey. Don’t let those negative people try to drag you down and back into the clutches of Satan. You’ve fought the hard fight for 3 years now, don’t give up you almost have it won.    Christina you know how much I love and admire you for doing what you’ve done by standing up for yourself against the porn industry and also for being your own person.  I know it hasn’t been easy for you from reading all your blogs from the very beginning.   But what you’ve done shall be rewarded now and for all eternity in the Kingdom of Heaven.  We will all be able to rejoice together when that day comes.

As I always tell you Christina, you are always in my thoughts and prayers, never forget that you are not in this alone.  There are so many people out there who care for and love you and I am one of them.   Be strong and keep the faith.

All God’s Love    & Mine,  Louis

I feel like I've been dumped on lately and I've felt kind of useless for God. If you have felt that way don't buy into it! God started a work in you and He will see it through to completion. Try to be bold and have no shame because God is walking with you through it all! Blessings upon blessings to you! christina : )

Keep on keeping on Crissy, you would not have been brought on this journey if God thought it was too hard for you. If in first John 4 it says "God is Love" then we can insert His name in this verse:

"Jesus is patient, Jesus is kind. Jesus does not envy, Jesus does not boast, Jesus is not proud. Jesus is not rude, Jesus is not self-seeking, Jesus is not easily angered, Jesus keeps no record of wrongs. Jesus does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Jesus always protects, Jesus always trusts, Jesus always hopes, Jesus always perseveres. Jesus never fails." -The Apostle Paul in 1st Corinthians 13

He is those things to you, Crissy, because He wants to be.

Dear Crissy,
Always know this, Jesus Christ lives within you. You are His precious and most addorable Bride, the House of God -built by His Son, and are the sealed Temple of His Holy Spirit! Wherever you are, Jesus Christ is there with you. You are continually being conformed into His image. That is what our life is about = His life in us. God has revealed His Beloved Son in you (Galatians 1:15, 16)! He is in complete control, all you can do is believe Him - it is all for His good in you. Christ in you, the hope of glory - His glory in you (Clossians 1:27)! Jesus Christ learned obedience through that which He suffered (Hebrews 5:8). That obedience was having faith in what His Father would do with Him by way of the Cross. Jesus never had to believe into His Father before the Incarnation, but He chose to put on flesh and by this, He had to become obedient to His Father. This very same thing is being worked into you. It is the life of Jesus Christ in you. As Job said "though He slay me, yet I will trust in Him" (Job 13:15). You are daily being prepared for Him and your wedding day with Him. Sometimes the wedding arrangements can be a hassel, but He has you and all that it takes in the control of His loving hands. There is no greater love than the love that God our Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and His Holy Spirit have for you! He has given you the abundant life! Turst Him [walk by faith (in Him and His life in you), not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7)] (in fact, read all of 2 Cor. 5). Turst Him, not what you see, not what you feel, not what you encounter. Trust Him. No one has or ever will love you as He does. You Crissy, are His most precious Bride! and His love letter to you, is the Bible. His "Grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness" (2 Cor. 12:9). Praise God that it is by His strength and not our own.
Only by Him,
                Mike

Crissy, I've been a Christian of one type of another nearly all my life, and a convert to Roman Catholicism in 2002 when I really became serious about my faith.  And at that point, sexual temptation got to be worse than ever at times.  For me, its not been so much about looking at a beautiful woman and lusting but things like anger, or frustration, or disappointment with life and my own progress in the faith would seem to drive me to look for something to look at to lust after.  In the midst of ratcheting up my prayer life as a result of being so frustrated lately with the sinful bent of government and media turning more and more against Christianity, my anger got the best of me and led to sin and searching the internet for porn.  As you know, the Bible tells us that God is able to work out all things for good to those who love him so I hope it will actually ENCOURAGE you rather than discourage that I found some of your old footage on a site and then I saw the comments.  I get VERY offended when people mock Jesus and there were people saying that we'd never see any more porn from you because you had found Jesus and they mocked Christ.  THEY mocked Christ but it convicted me and I end up searching you out to see if it were true and I found you here. I bought a filter to block the site in question and my counselor at my parish suggested today that I get a book by one of the members of my parish (Stephen Wood)  called "Breaking Free".   Like the story of Joseph, when he was reunited with his brothers "They meant it for evil, but God meant it for good."  So don't be discouraged.  This is a case where the former Crissy led me to the transformed Crissy and back to some healing.  So thank you!

Hi Crissy,
I don't think it was any accident that I read your blog today. After being an angry miserable person my entire life (I'm 41), I had a HUGE earth shattering breakthrough today. Like, my entire life came pouring out of me in ONE day. I've been praying for this for as long as I can remember. There were many small victories along the way but for whatever reason a NEW LIFE sprang forth in me today. I saw that I was 2 people- the person that God intended me to be (and that's how I saw myself) and I was also the person that other people saw- the angry, lonely, depressed, offended, hurt, scattered, thoughtless, cold, person that would blind-side people with harsh words. I didn't realize who I was at those times UNTIL GOD showed me today... it was painful and it hurt A LOT but I saw that other person for the first time where before I thought it was all me- the bad and the good (if that makes sense). But now I see 2 people, and one of the 2 needs to go! I literally cast off my old self in Jesus' name.... and that other person LEFT!! Finally, she's gone. I look forward to being the new person for the rest of my life, FULL of God's love towards others. The way I was meant to be.

I don't know why I shared, but I hope it blessed you in some way. Be blessed. God loves you so much and He is fighting for you!!!!!

Dear Crissy,

I'm praying for you all the way. Issues will continue to surface as the years go by, and there are times when the going will seem impossibly hard. but this is all part of healing, healing of the body, the soul, the emotions, the mind, the spirit. If you think about what happens in terms of healing, you are certainly on the right track. I know, I've been there. And however hard things seem to get, God is still there with you, Jesus is closest to us in our hardest times.

Human sin is not something simple, 'a matter of choice' whether to do or not to do a certain thing, a matter of decisions that can easily be reversed.

We all of us are weak creatures fallen into sin, at our core is a dislocation, a discord, as if body and spirit, feelings and soul have all argued and fallen out with one another, so that there is a disharmony between what we know to be right and our feelings and desires.

So the work of the Christian is to restore harmony between our various parts, to undergo a deep and profound healing; more than a healing, a personal resurrection. He who rose from the dead will hold our hands and help us rise as we lift ourselves out of the deadness of sin.

Conversion and Baptism give us, through God's grace, a fresh start, a sudden relief of tension, a clear and happy sense of purpose. But the healing continues from there on in. Sometimes that healing is pleasurable and joyous, but there will be times our healing hurts us, and sometimes it hurts a lot.

What we have to do is to endure patiently (not always easy, I know) and trust that He who loves us has redeemed us is healing us.

God helps us in many ways: though the scriptures and through His blessings, healings, chastenings, demands and inspirations; but all these things he does because He loves us. This is the thought you should hold fast to.

Through God's grace we who are fractured and broken can become whole again, so that our loving, our feelings and desires, our thoughts and our wills are all united again, working together harmoniously to God's purpose.

But this takes healing and healing takes time. This is the work of a lifetime. Yet it is glorious work, it is God's work. As we heal we gradually get a better sense of purpose, a sharper sense of responsibility, clearer knowledge, and a greater ease of choice, the ability to act effectively, the feeling that we are at last healed, body mind and spirit.

But getting there will have its challenges, Crissy. Stay in there, stay strong. You are in my prayers.

Mike D
