I have a really cool development to tell you about regarding The Voice of the Trees deck!

Upon the completion and submission of the artwork and manuscript, I wanted a way to bring this forest of trees to life and give something back to the earth. You know, it's one thing to draw pretty pictures of trees, and write pretty words about trees, but I wanted to take the next step, and do something physical and positive to thank the trees and the earth for their wisdom and life.

During my research for this project, I discovered "Trees for Life," which is a really cool group of both experts and volunteers dedicated to the restoration of the Caledonian Forest in Scotland.  As part of that restoration project, they set up groves of trees for special events, memorials, weddings, births, etc.  So I thought, since this deck is based on the Celtic Tree Ogham, wouldn't it be cool to set up a grove in the Caledonian Forest in Scotland dedicated to friends of Voice of the Trees!

Many of us are spiritually drawn to trees, if you would like an opportunity to honor that connection with positive action, I invite you to be a part of this grove planted in the name of “The Voice of the Trees Celebration Grove,” your sponsorship of a tree for this grove will help to bring back the native forests of our Celtic spiritual ancestors for the enjoyment of future generations.  I've made the initial donation of 8 trees to start the grove and dedicate it, If you, your group or Coven would like to add a tree to the Voice of the Trees grove, each £5 you donate allows us to plant another tree in this grove. I checked the currency converter, and as of today, that's only about $8.50.  (That changes, so check an online currency converter before you donate if you are in the U.S. so you know how much it is.)  You can also put your name on the page, and a short message to let us all know you are part of the grove! Also, drop me a line with your regular email address, I'm creating a special printable certificate of thanks that's suitable for framing that I'll email you when you donate.
