We're glad that you've joined us here for this blog. What the fuck will they think of next? Blogs are strange.

At any rate, our record label is starting a street team kinda thing for all the bands on Big Muddy Records. You join the street team and get all kindsa neat shit in exchange for forcing all of your friends at gunpoint to buy our music. That way, when we get really filthy rich, you can all come over to our house and we can all play guitar hero together.

All you gotta do if you want in is send an e-mail over to bigmuddyrecords@gmail.com and put fan club in the subject line.

We've decided to start a Big Muddy Records fan club to try to get you all feeling a little more involved in the music. It's fun to watch the bands and listen to the music, but we want to give you guys a chance to contribute and be a part of the Big Muddy family.

So we came up with the idea of a fan club. I think we'll call it Tubby Dubby, or something like that. We want this to be the fan club of fan clubs, the street teams of street teams. We're going to be focusing a huge amount of our time trying to figure how we can make this fun for you guys.

At any rate, here's the low down on the things we'll be doing through the club:

-Discounts on CDs through our new website (building in progress)
-Hear about rare, exclusive performances (parties, acoustic sets, street performances)
-Hear about shows and new releases first
-Have opportunities to meet and hang out with the bands (bowling, anyone?)
-Hear exclusive, never-before-released mp3s and demos from the bands
-free stickers and buttons
-contests
-updates from the road

These are just a few of the ideas we had. We'd also like to get some promotion parties together, meet up at an Imo's or something and break off into groups and hang up flyers and pass out demo CDs. I think this could be a whole lot of fun, and we want you guys in on this too. We're making something happen in St. Louis, and we'd like to make it as fun as possible.
