Soca superstar Kevin Lyttle will be taking his tantalizing, soulful sounds to the streets of Miami for the annual Calle Ocho festival, this Sunday, March 15. Lyttle will be a featured performer on the POWER96 stage, joining the likes of Shaggy and Brooke Hogan
for a stellar lineup of the hottest acts in music today. "I'll be
bringing the fire," states the electrifying star, who single-handedly
introduced the soca genre to the world when his first single,"Turn Me On," exploded at #4 on Billboard Hot 100 in 2004.
Lyttle's latest release, "Anywhere" featuring Flo Rida, is currently receiving rotation on Miami's hit station POWER96, leading to his inclusion in their Calle Ocho cast. He will also be the in-studio guest on The DJ Laz Morning Show, on Wednesday, March 11. as "the biggest block party in the world," Calle Ocho is known as the
Spanish Carnival in Miami and attracts thousands during the daylong
fiesta. Join Kevin Lyttle and the POWER96 celebration at the stage
located on SW 8th Street and 17th Avenue in downtown Miami, from 11am to 7pm on Sunday.
Lyttle
is currently hitting the studio as he gears up for his sophomore
mainstream release, after taking time to tour the world, following the
success of his self-titled debut album (Atlantic Records, 2004). The
collaboration with Flo Rida is just one of many, as artists from all
genres team up with the "Soul of Soca" on his journey to bring
Caribbean music to mainstream masses. Fans can look forward to
upcoming Kevin Lyttle hits featuring Shaggy, Fat Joe and Pitbull.
