Prtoect me as you have always protected those who fear you.
Keep me under your wing and  let no harm befall me.
Look upon what my heart full of sincerity has asked of you. Yet, let it not be my will, but yours.
I know you look after those who have seeked you with all their strength. Only you know, Father, why I am here.
I thank you for introducing me to what completes who I am. Thank you because, in getting to know you, I have gotten to know myself. Because your Word says that those who seek themselves will lose themselves, but I have sought you and you have come through and delivered me from my adversaries.
In the path which you have constructed for me there are many roads that seem unclear. What I have always thought to be the truth has proven to be nothing more than an illusion. And yet, I trust that as you continue to reveal what is good and what is real and what is true, my perception of what is genuine will grow to be more like yours.
Continue to lead us and keep us strong that we may have the determination to do your will under any circumstance, no matter how difficult it may seem.
Don't leave me nor forsake me, for you know that I need you now as I've never needed you before. So much is new to me and although I don't understand many things I will not fear for you are my refuge and my strong tower. You are my salvation.
You have given me strength to face what has come and I pray that whatever is to come may prove to be blessings, even if it doesn't appear that way at first.
I trust in you, my God. You have delivered me from the mouth of the lion and placed me on firm ground. I am eternally grateful for what you have done for me. I only pray that you continue to guide my steps as you have always done. Put me not to shame for I am your servant.
