Now presenting the long awaited studioblog ...
Arh - those boys - It just won..t take any end will it...?!
Nope girl - cause its rock ..n roll!
1)- They started out last Friday evening in the ....Copenhagen.... based studio of Anders Lundemark. Nice!!! They have been waiting for such a goddamn long time to finally be ready to record the new songs and have the time to properly focus on it. ....
Tue Madsen – their SuperProducer – arrived early Friday and had his cups of java with Anders, while getting ready for SuperCharger to arrive with the gear. The whole recording session is divided into 4 parts. ....
First they record drums and bass in Copenhagen – second they go to Aarhus (20 – 26) in the other end of DK(wuuhuu – partytime) to record guitars, magic stuff and vocals and finally they go back to Cph to record choirs, piano, harp, Hammond and so on… The 4th part will then be listening sessions, clipping, mixing and mastering… So in mid April the hopes are set for havin.. a finished album between the hands.....

Anyway – they began early Saturday morning. Brian and Benji was going to start recording drums and bass, but since Buggi spoke Thomas into visiting the “RockTheNight” party Friday night, and they of course got really drunk and to bed half an hour before Thomas should be playing Q – guitars in the studio, they didn’t get started till around mid – day. – And hangovers don’t exactly go well with recording an album… Or does it?!....

Already Saturday the first 6 tracks, (with a box of good Danish beer), were recorded including last minute changes and corrections. Actually there are quite a few changes and new ideas coming up while recording the album. The songs are somehow falling in place while they are put down on tape… And they are all good straight hard hitting rock ..n roller songs… Of course!!....

Many hours later Buggi finally shows up accompanied by Le Chef and they take off to the nearest shopping mall to buy stuff for Saturday night. Le Chef spends the rest of the day in the kitchen, preparing a big dinner for the boys, Tue and Anders.
Saturday ends with some partying in the studio and Brian is the first to get send home, since he tries to finish off a 6-pack redwine with a cocktail glass and smooth talkin the rest of the boys and the whole night ends with way too much to drink again, and the possibility that the recordings Sunday once again will be delayed. ....

Sunday:....
Everybody except for Mikkel shows up in time. His little new son needs some father time, which there really haven’t been that much time for since he was born.....
Sunday is as efficient as the first day, even though this day requires even more time for final changes and new structures to the songs. And thats a goddamn positive thing!! There is even time to record 3 older songs, just to have them on tape and to finish off the last case of beer from Saturday. ....

There is no working title for the album yet, but the songs are mostly titled, though there will probably end up being last minute changes for those as well. Tracklist will be up listed here later as well as possible sexi pics, videos and more writing…Till then.. ROCK! ....

2) - AARHUS ANTFARM STUDIO SESSIONS.....
Yeehaaarh this is fun... !!! -and it seems as if we most definitely will end up doing a pretty good rock and roll album... The reason for not updating this studioblog earlier, is due to hard work in the studio and hard funny time... so there haven..t really been much time for "networking..."
Buggi and Mikkel picked Thomas up friday (20th) morning and after some sun licking and some black ass coffee we took off in a car that in no way could ever have been packed more tight... We drove straight onto the ferry in nothern sealand and 1 hour later we were in Aarhus, Jutland - at the Antfarm Studio!!!
- "Hey Tue - we are here.."
"-Shut up boys and put your gear there..." "Welcome to the Antfarm... makes this one fast - cause there..s a party tonight at 8!!"
"- Wuuhuu - ok, we will...!!"
We entered the studio mid Friday and spend around 4 hours on guitar sound. Its important for us that we get the best usuable guitar sound for the variaty in our rock songs... And we managed and even though we had a tight schedule this first day, we managed to find the perfect sound... and then we headed to downtown Aarhus ... !! That resulted in some serious bar visits and some strong Danish Elephant Beer... phew... bADR...
Saturday and Sunday Buggi and Thomas put down some kickass guitars and the tracks finally started to fall into place... As usual we can..t help changing a little here and there and for some reason we found out that we have played a few things in 4 different individual ways for the last 1,5 year... Hahaha... Guess nobody have ever really noticed it at the concerts... But now we know!!
Sunday we actually finished all guitar recordings. We have done it as live as possible - no panecaking the recordings or clipping everything to pieces... Its all played from start to end - which leaves us with some good old-fashioned energy and in some way keeping our credability intact... Well... optimistically speaking... !!!
3) AARHUS FINISHED AND COPENHAGEN ROCKIN...
We have uploadet some pictures in our photobox-picture-place.... for you girls and boys...
The album is done now and we are waiting for the probably very very fine mix and master result... The recordings in raw are already really rock n roll, so we are just exited to get it with mixet sound...
When the Aarhus days were over, we all hooked up in Copenhagen at Lundemarks Studio with Tue, on the 28th and of course listened to some of it... The plan for this last weekend was to record the small details / or half-big details like piano, harpe and clapping and hillbilly shit and so on... but of course first a few cases of beer entered the studio and a lot of people suddenly showed up, so we ended up havin one good party at the studio... but thanks to Tue we actually did record some things that day... pieces of that party actually ended on the album... As background funtime!! Those last details rounds up the songs and the sound that we wanted to have... The party moved on to a bar and a concert and somehow Buggi, JackD and Thomas ended up at a "Bunny-Party", where 10 girls were throwin their own little Hefner theme get-together.....!! Be careful with inviting those two boys to parties like that... They can get sleazy and greazy now and then...
Sunday with hangovers and Mr.Hefner 1 and 2..s ongoing talk about little girls in Playboy outfits, we had one little hour to record some last vocal - some guest vocal done by the charming, beautiful and asskicking Miss RubiesQueen... She lighted a cigarette and finished off 3 tracks choruses with some oh goodie goodie rock mama vocals... You should be looking forward to that one.. !!!
The rest of day we went though it all, had a few rounds of Vestfyen Pils and went home with the recordings for a listen...
This album will truely rock your socks and pantyhoes OFF....!!!
When or where or why and how the album will be released we still don..t know, but when we know, you know!!! We have just been concentrating on the music, and haven..t really bothered to start thinking about the business yet...
EXCEPT for playing some concerts of course... Check our calendar for updates... A lot of gigs are coming up... Especially the latest; - On the 18th+19th of April we have been invited to play Dino..s Bar in Ãland Islands (Finlandia/Sweden) ... Great place and great club.. We are really looking forward to go there and get drunk among 2000 islands...
