OK, everybody... We know.

If you've been keeping track of Pollux movements, like many of the clubs in S.F. you may have been half-heartedly waiting for our picture to end up on a milk carton.

This much, I can assure you: We're not lost... at least geographically speaking.

As a point of fact, since returning from our tour, we've been nowhere *but* here, but  we've been locked away in the studio since seemingly time immortal.

Yes, what was intended to be a relatively quick recording process has become our own Pet Sounds... which is to say that we spend every free waking moment in Spliggityfidge Studio tracking what can only be described as ( I'm just being honest here)... the single most majestic rock opus of this or any other century, with Hope the dog presiding over the festivities.

The Bad: obviously, this has taken longer than expected... but it's wrapping up as we speak, so it's alot like when your watch stops and you realize you've unwittingly worked two hours of overtime and NOT AT ALL  like when you're about to split work for coctails with some *other* really smart and attractive Pollux fan and you're employer tells you you gotta work two hours later.  So there's that.

The Good: the record is shaping up phenominally, owing in no small part to the love that we're putting into in.  In short, you'll hear the effort.

The Ugly: with no less than eight hundred million tracks, we're trying to figure out how to grow extra arms to play everything when it's time to tour again. 

So we're days from completion, at which time we start shopping to labels and... doing shows!


As I write this, Carey is doing vocal overdubs and he actually just yelled a last reminder to me: We're moving quickly, yes, but he wanted you to know that all those naked pictures, sent lovingly to polluxmusic@gmail.com continue to inspire us, so please keep sending them!
