The literal explanation of Sanskrit word Yoga is union. Yoga forms body strong and flexible, growing balance in the body. However these are only some specific positive effects served by Yoga. Yoga supports relieve stress in the body, raise joint mobility, alleviate lower back pain by empowering the spine. Few foremost positive results of Yoga are improvement of digestion system, immune system, endocrine system and increases blood circulation.

Yoga also has uses to the mental state of the body. Yoga assists you in stress management, sharpening your concentration and relaxing your mind and the body. You may become disciplined with Yoga.

I suggest you could perform specific types of Yoga at least if you are a newcomer in this field. It is not put in writing any where to perform just one kind of Yoga daily. Asthanga Yoga is my favorite one anyhow I even try out Iyenagar Yoga and Hatha Yoga for a variety.

There are four forms of Yogas, Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, Raja Yoga, and Jnana Yoga. Each of these Yoga type educate us how to acquire moksha. You will get rid of the death and lives forever after getting salvation or moksha. Hence, Yoga teaches you divinely.
