Before I start blogging I'd like to point out the "what im listening to" section of this post. In case you didnt know i teach guitar lessons to A LOT of 12-13 year olds. And i've had to teach this band's song "dear maria" a few times now. And I can't get it out of my head. It just keeps playing and playing and playing....

Ok - big news here is that we had our CD release gig and it was great. a huge thanks to everyone that was there and especially our good bud elijah b torn who did an awesome job opening for us. Sales for the album are starting to trickle in which is GREAT. If you want an album, look for the "BUY" button on the main page or go to HansBlixBand.com They are hand printed on a print gocco machine and numbered 1 - 250. So buy one before they go!

Oh yeah one more thing. I am about to leave on a tour with Cougar. We are opening up for UNKLE, 65 days of Static and possible Caribou. That will be a blast. But I will miss Blix (sniff sniff)
