“Mesoscaphe”, as far as I understand, this is the type of the bathyscaph, in which famous submariner and naturalist Auguste Picard investigated flows and inhabitants of Gulf Stream, and this album was dedicated to [mezoskafu] by the name “Ben Franklin”, that accomplished sinkings in 1969. After selecting this interesting theme, Mathieu Ruhlmann and the conjugal pair of William and Danielle Long, a.k.a. “Celer”, were armed with different set of instruments, and they wrote down the disk, some name alone of tracks of which speak about its not simple content. Ruhlmann preferred to play on the acoustic tools, such, as cymbals and [gusli], whereas to participants “Celer” is more usual to use field records, piano, films, and the different programs of its [leptopov].
