The 2007 DragonCon experience was, again, a wonderful opportunity to step into the insanity of amazing costumes & fantasy. Attendence was almost double the 30,000 that attended in 2006. More fans came onboard, and over 500 postcards were picked up from the booth in the ArtShow section. It's a great opportunity to connect with fans and inspire younger artists. Lance (my son) came in from San Francisco to assist with the show and we had a great time shooting costumed guests. Syncronisity never ceases to amaze me.
Rougue (lead singer+ from Cruxshadows) & his fiance stopped by couple of times. Last year they released "SOFIA", the same year I brought in the painting "The Mystery School of Sofia". This year they released "White Rabbit" (on the extended single release of "Birthday". Syncronisity there being, I was showing the painting "Between Two Worlds", based on both "Alice Through The Looking Glass" & "Alice in Wonderland". Rogue, has agreed to be the subject of a portrait in the near future...and congratulations to them for their continued successes!
