Many new works have emerged this year and a new publisher has come on-board: Legacy Fine Art Publishing. ArtExpo Las Vegas, while a stunning launch for Legacy and 20+ of my new paintings were showing, the market fell that week, and the show promoter failed to get the traffic, as they have done so well in NYC for 30 years.

Even in this challenging economy art can and should flourish. While sales may lag, as an artist, it is a time to stretch your imagination and reach for new audiences. Many say it is a time to get back to basics and things familiar, for others it is a time for stepping into the unknown and embracing new mediums, new subjects and new friends. So while you might not be spending as much time with your clients and commissions, spend it with your artistic comrades. Be ready for the market turn-around with new bodies of work!
