‘Opiate Sun’ will be released in the US and UK on Mark Kozelek’s (Red House Painters / Sun Kil Moon) Caldo Verde Records home of Mark’s own Sun Kil Moon and other transformative musical endeavors. Mark was captured by the strength of Justin’s performance when he saw him live in San Francisco in 2007. Therefore he was only too happy to help out when the opportunity arose to be involved in this important project.

I absolutely love Jesu, and I love Sun Kil Moon/Red House Painters! Glad Mark Kozelek is into the music of Justin Broderick and vice versa. Maybe a collaborative album of both brilliant minds in the future eh? that would be amazing!

..the new ep is good,but the old jesu songs are much better,i miss the heavy bass sound,like "the silver ep or why are we ep" I'm a total fan of your music,but i hope the next releases are much more Bass and guitar noise.....cheers!!!....
