Well, Ryan and I are in Phoenix, AZ for the 2nd Annual Warped Tour Bowling Tournament. It's a benefit to help raise funds for the T.J.Martell Foundation. Ryan won a spot to bowl with Less Than Jake, and against 32 other Warped Tour bands. It turns out that while the cool punk rock kids where out partying the ska kids were taking bowling lessons! The LTJ master plan was to place in the top five bands overall. We started the first round in lane two, right next to Bad Religion, Underoath, & Anti Flag. LTJ made it into round two against 16 other bands, then into the last round of 7 bands. In the end lots of beer was consumed, but wouldn't you know, LTJ took second place overall. There is a bit of controversy about that - the top three teams were a radio station, LTJ and the Vans (sponsor) team. So really LTJ was 1st out of all of the bands! We've got some video of the awards ceremony (it's kind of funny) and of course a bunch of pics that we'll throw up when we get home later this week.
Today we're off to see the Warped Tour in Phoenix. It's been around 110 degrees outside, so we're going to get baked today I'm sure. Who the hell builds a city in this heat?!?! More later - where's that sunscreen?
