Tons of exciting stuff going down in LPU-world. First off, after the tragic and unforeseen downfall of Touch & Go distribution we made a rather painless transition over to the wonderful Secretly Canadian!
Secondly, we've already released a bunch of RAD records in 2009 including 7"s by
CLIPD BEAKS &
PICTUREPLANE, a beautiful debut EP from
DERADOORIAN entitled Mind Raft, and the ridiculously anthemic DIE SLOW 7" by
HEALTH--
HEAR IT HERE! All of those bands are keeping super busy: you can catch Angel Deradoorian touring all this summer with her other band Dirty Projectors,
HEALTH are playing a bunch of sporadic festival shows and an NYC pool party in anticipation of their AMAZING new full length Get Color (dropping Sept. 8th) and subsequent world tour, and
PICTUREPLANE'S first LP for Lovepump, Dark Rift, comes out August 4th--he'll also be joining
HEALTH for the U.S. portion of the Get Color tour!!!
We have even MORE stuff coming down the pipe line that we can't quite tell you about yet, but needless to say: it's going to be awesome.
