Last Saturday night I attended the Viva Vera! Auction, to benefit everyone's favorite local nonprofit: The Vera Project.  This was a great night, and I got to see quite a few old friends.  The best part of the evening: over $120,000 was raised for Vera.  Amazing. 

I wrote a longer post about it here.  Just wanted to give a some props to James Keblas, kate Becker, Shannon Stewart and the rest of the community for making this happen in our city.  Not so long ago, I would not have thought it possible.
