Yeah, 'sbeen a while since this-ol' blogger reared his head...not that anyone's been complainin'! oh well...here I commence, answering a need that doesn't seem to exist!

Hello!

The crisp air reminds us that autumn is here and a glance at the calendar reminds us that it's time to hoot!

yes, yes...for the 69th month running, a cadre of hip and improv-loving musicpeople will meet this Sunday afternoon at the West Bank's Nomad Pub (501 Cedar Avenue, Minneapolis), perhaps even outside on the delightful patio, if the weather allows. People will no doubt show up with acoustic instruments in hand, having chosen perhaps several tunes through which they can lead the group. Sure, it's an amateur event, but then again, the word "amateur" comes from the French word meaning "to love". . . .

It's kind of amazing really...a free and spontaneous music time that ebbs and flows and lives...and then is gone.

Come grasp the moment with us.
