It's been a really great year for Vietnam Werewolf,we played some awesome shows with some amazing bands. One of the  highlights was the Get A Life Hunger Benefit, where we performed a set as the Get Up Kids.Video of this performance will be on our website very soon and,if you're interested, you can also find the complete list of all the shows we played here.

We know many of you are probably more anxious to hear the new Shakespeare album, but Vietnam Werewolf's debut full-length, Ohio's City, will be available in March. We will be self-releasing the CD version and our pals at Los Diaper Records will be putting out the vinyl (probably around summer). You can pre-order the album now both here and at our MySpace page, a move that could get the disc in your hands as early as February.  Two tracks from the record have also been posted here and on our website for your listening pleasure.  One is brand new, and one is a re-recording of a song from our demo.  We will also be posting more new tracks in the coming weeks.

Also, in case that's not enough Vietnam Werewolf for you, we have some extra songs from the same recording session that are going to be put out on a casette-only release by Tapes Not Bombs, a tape-only label run by Jeff Bolt (Traffic & Weather) and Kevin Nunn (North Lincoln).

Finally, we are pleased to announce that we have added a new member. Our good buddy Tim Gill, of Echoes of Harpers Ferry, has taken over bass duties.  Tim is currently studying the ins and outs of a socialist economy in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (we shit you not), but when he gets back to the states, we'll be playing some more shows.
